Automatic Update via Envato Market Plugin
Rippled supports automatic updates through the official Envato Market plugin.
The plugin connects your WordPress website with your Envato account and checks for available Rippled theme updates.
Setup Automatic Updates
- Install Plugin — Install and activate the official Envato Market plugin on your WordPress website.
- Connect Envato Account — Add your Envato Personal Token to connect the website with your purchase.
- Update Notification — When a new Rippled version is available, WordPress will show an update notification.
- Update Theme — Go to Dashboard → Updates and click Update Now to install the latest version.
Manual Update
You can also update Rippled manually by uploading the latest theme package.
- Download Latest Version — Download the updated Rippled package from your Envato account.
- Replace Theme Files — Upload the new theme folder using FTP or WordPress theme upload.
- Activate Theme — Confirm that Rippled is active after the update.
Before Updating
- Create Backup — Backup your website files and database before updating.
- Review Changelog — Check new changes before applying major updates.
- Update Plugins — Keep required plugins updated for best compatibility.
Note
Theme updates replace Rippled theme files only. Your posts, pages, media, Customizer settings, and WordPress database content remain safe when updates are performed correctly. Always keep a backup before updating.
